Procedure to Apply

1. Register yourself on https://goaonline.gov.in and login. Click on Services Menu --> All Services --> Revenue --> Caste Certificate.
2. Fill in the application form.
3. Upload the necessary documents. For information on document required, click on Document required link provided on this screen.
4. Once uploaded, you will need to pay convenience fees as applicable. The payment receipt can be downloaded from your inbox.
5. Upon payment of fees, note the acknowledgement no. for status tracking.
6. Department after scrutiny of your application may mark it back for necessary document compliance if needed.
7. Once application is approved by the department, certificate will be issued and will be available in your inbox for download.

Processing time:    Ten days (Right of Citizens to Time-bound Delivery of Public Services Act)

Documents required

1. Birth Certificate of the applicant. [Self attested]
2. Birth Certificate of applicant's father or any relatives from father's side. [Self attested]
3. Applicant's school Leaving Certificate and Bonafide Certificate issued by school authorities. [Self attested]
4. Documents showing that applicant's father or grandfather belong to SC/ST notified by Government. [Self attested]
5. Documents showing that applicant / applicant's family was residing in Goa prior to 19/02/1968 [For SC/ST]. [Self attested]
6. Self declaration.
7. Samaj Certificate. [Self attested]
8. Talathi's report along with report of the concerned Mamlatdar (Original)
9. Marriage Certificate incase of married woman. [Self attested]
10. Aadhaar card / Voter's card (if any). [Self attested]
11. Documents showing that applicant's father or grandfather belong to OBC notified by Government. [Self attested]
12. Documents showing that applicant / applicant's father was residing in Goa prior to 19/02/1968 [For OBC]. [Self attested]
13. Income Certificate issued by the competent authority for preceding 3 years. (Village Panchayat / Municipality / C.C.P.)
